In our previous home in the inner-city we lived directly across from a pub. OK trying to heave my butt off the ground & throw it into some design action but felt like I needed a bit of inspiration. So after dropping off my elderly poodles - Pixel & Jett at the groomers I stopped in at the local art and bookstore and spotted these below. I would love to get as soon as I can start squirrelling away for them. My weakness is design & craft books.

Last week I went along to Surface Art in Annandale with my friend Amanda who was picking up a dress she had adjusted for herself. So of course I walk out the store having bought a dress & T-towel! Just finished up a screen printing short course with Danielle Atkinson amazing designer from Milk From a Thistle . I will really miss my mad dash to class on Mondays at Art Est in Leichhardt - it has been fun, informative and really inspiring. By the time I am 40 I will . . .- design patterns- screen print- paint a canvas- design a font- start my jewellery on-line store- have more fun with my children- be patient with my children- read more books with my children and for myself- send Birthday cards on time- buy only what I need not want- save $- complain less- work hard not long- keep up with house work - especially the ironing!-
