LIFE

Ok... so I am convalescing, childless (seldom happens) & need to perk me & this blog up! I have decided to start showcasing some of my favourite most amazingly talented Surface Designers of Australia. You see over the years I have toyed & toyed with my most hidden desire to start putting my graphic skills & love for all things patterned & designed onto cloth and paper into a profitable business model. Fear of failure & not being able to support my family has always stopped me, well hoot to that & time to forge forward.

Over the years I took up a screen printing local college night course, did a week with Julie Patterson of clothfabric screen printing course (creative awakening) all with the hope of kick starting my ideas into production, but only ever ended up thinking way too much with no make & do. Over the past 3 years I would pick up an application for a design & fabric printing course, dwell & end up missing the deadline for application. Well finally end of last year I applied & got in. So starts the education cycle & desire to succeed & find my happiness....which ended abruptly after realising that I just could not juggle work, children & getting my health back - disappointed.
